Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You too can achieve this. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves upon the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.
It may seem impossible at first, but with with the right techniques you’ll learn to control this skill. The PADI Peak Performance Bouyancy course is designed to help you understand the factors related to bouyancy and put into practice exercises that will help you control it. Knowing these techniques will allow you to enjoy your dives to a greater extent, your air tank will last longer and it will heighten your experience.
During the course you’ll learn to configure your diving gear, adjust your ballast and how best to move in the water. You’ll learn that the air in your lungs plays an important roll and that controlling it’s volume will help you move and delicately change depth.
